This Nero di Troia is a sumptuous and elegant full bodied red wine produced with the best Organic grapes from southern Italian region of Puglia. It displays aromas of dark fresh plum, cinnamon, exotic spices and tobacco.
The EU Organic certification (IT BIO 009) guarantees sustainable viticulture with biodiversity and no chemical pesticides used to protect the environment. Suitable for vegans but contains sulphites.
The firm yet gentle tannins add complexity and length. The luminous red colour features purple reflections and finely textured body. Fermentation occurs at 23-25°C for approximately 10 days with frequent remontage and delestage. Thirty percent of the wine is oaked for 6 months in first passage American oak barriques.
