Brimming with aromatic intensity, our bright, fruity Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Malbec wine is created from a blend of more than 100 plots, transitioning to organic, where the earth meets the sky at the foothills of the Andes. Blending mountain fruit from our vineyards in the Uco Valley with grapes from the higher terroirs of Las Compuertas in Luján de Cuyo, is our signature mountain Malbec wine.
Terrazas de Los Andes story began more than 30 years ago, when our team recognized the potential of Mendoza and the Andes long before Argentina's oenological potential was known. With the vision and conviction to create world-class fine wines, we began to explore the unexplored lands of the Andes in search of a refined varietal expression that can only be achieved in Mendoza on the cool, high-altitude terraces. It was there, where the sky and the earth meet, that Terrazas de los Andes was born.

Regional information: For Terrazas de los Andes, this organic wine represents a key step in our journey. As of the 2023 vintage, the wine is now crafted exclusively from our own organically farmed vineyards, sourced from two of the finest high-altitude terroirs in the Uco Valley: Licán in Los Chacayes (1200 m) and El Yaima in Paraje Altamira (1030 m).
Vinification: Terrazas de los Andes Organic Malbec grapes are harvested early and fresh, at their peak of fruit expression; as we like to say, al dente. It is gently macerated for a period of 15-20 days, aiming to slowly and precisely extract the right tannic structure of the wine while preserving its fineness. Ageing is performed in oak barrels from new to 4 uses for 12 months, while a proportion is kept in tanks to preserve fruit freshness and purity.
