In spring and summer the beef cattle live outside fed on natural grass and enjoying the sunshine, in winter they live inside well ventilated barns, fed on nutritious grass mix diet which was grown in summer then specially wrapped to feed in winter to plus a special treat of crushed barley grain. The cattle have the comfort of laying on deep straw bedding.
