Tanzania Blackburn Estate coffee beans are a hand-selected single origin whole bean coffee from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This roast level 4/5 brings aromatics of black stone fruits, wine gums, butterscotch and ginger, leading to a clean and sweet finish. Grind freshly before brewing and use about 15g of coffee per 250ml water at 92-94°C.
With inquisitive neighbours of elephants and water buffalo and stunning natural surroundings, the Blackburn Estate where this coffee grew has become synonymous with high quality. The result is this exquisite, hand-selected coffee, with aromatics of black stone fruits, wine gums, butterscotch and ginger, leading to a clean, super-sweet finish with a fresh, pointed acidity.
Inspired by synesthesia - the phenomenon of experiencing one sense through another - the label designs in this range use a flavour wheel for each single origin coffee and explode the colours into an evocative and unique pattern. The packaging is also home compostable and keeps the coffee fresh.
