The lid has a soft-close function to minimize noise disruption for convenience. The bin requires 4x AA batteries in order to use the top compartment as a sensor bin, though they are not included, whilst it can also be turned off for manual operation. A bin liner retainer ring will keep your liners in place and offers simple emptying, whilst an anti-slip base will keep the bin secure when disposing of waste or emptying either compartment.
