Preparation and Safety

Just Add: 450g extra lean beef mince, 1 onion diced, 100g mushrooms sliced, 400g tin chopped tomatoes, 2 tbs tomato purée, 125ml cold water, 275g spaghetti cooked and drained.

  1. Brown mince and onion for 5 mins. Stir in mushrooms and fry for 2 mins until browned. Drain excess liquid.
  2. Mix in seasoning, tomatoes, tomato purée and water. Bring to the boil.
  3. Cover and simmer for 15 mins stirring occasionally. Stir in spaghetti and heat through.

Try Something Different: Delicious topped with Parmesan cheese. For a meat free alternative replace the mince with tinned lentils and grated carrot.
