Description
The necktie has its origins in 17th-century France when Croatian mercenaries would wear them as a symbol of allegiance to the French army. The king at the time, Louis XIV, liked the look so much he adopted the tie into his own fashion oeuvre. Had the Italian brand Brunello Cucinelli existed at the time, we might hazard a guess as to what particular modern tie the royal would have chosen – this silk spotted iteration would be our first choice.
Length: 150cm approx.
The tie is a symbol of honour, integrity and sophistication.
