History
This estate was officially founded in 1959 when Walter and Gerlinde Schwarztrauber decided to convert their farm into a winery. Their son Gerhard encouraged their conversion to organic and they joined the Bioland Association in Germany in 1986.

From the heart of the Palatinate, where the climate is cool and vines grow on sandy soils at 125m above sea level.

Vinification Details
Cool, temperature-controlled fermentation. Fining and filtering are kept to a minimum and only small quantities of sulphur are used.
