Why not try replacing the chicken and bacon with onion, peppers, mushrooms and courgettes for a tasty meat-free alternative?Simply follow the 3 easy steps on the pack to create a delicious Chicken, Bacon & Potato Pie in 70 minutes.Just Add:- 450g boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced- 125g bacon, chopped- 175g leeks, sliced- 400ml semi-skimmed milk- 325g potatoes, peeled and sliced to the thickness of a pound coin- 50g Cheddar cheese, grated3 Easy Steps...1 Pre-heat oven 200°C, 400 °F, Gas Mark 6.2 Fry the bacon for 5 mins, until golden and crispy. Add the chicken and leeks and fry for about 5 mins, until browned. Mix seasoning with milk, and pour over chicken. Bring to the boil, stirring and simmer for 5 mins.3 Transfer to an ovenproof dish, top with potato slices and cook in the oven for 35 mins.Sprinkle over the cheese and cook for another 10 mins, until bubbling and golden brown.Try Something Different: Delicious with steamed green vegetables and freshly ground Schwartz Black Pepper. For Our Recipe you will need...1 sachet Schwartz Chicken, Bacon & Potato Pie Recipe Mix125g (5oz) unsmoked bacon, chopped450g (1lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced175g (6oz) leeks, sliced400ml (13fl oz) milk325g (11oz) potato, peeled and sliced to the thickness of a pound coin50g (2oz) Cheddar cheese, gratedDirections...1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C, 400 °F, Gas Mark 6.2. Fry the bacon in a pan for 5 minutes, or until it begins to crisp, add the chicken and fry until browned. Add the leeks and fry for a further 5 minutes until softened. Mix the sachet contents with the milk, stir into the pan and allow to heat through for 2-3 minutes.3. Transfer to a pie dish and top with the potato slices. Cook in the oven for 35 minutes. Sprinkle over the cheese and cook for a further 10-15 minutes until golden and the pie is bubbling.4.
