1 sachet of Sainsbury's sausage casserole recipe mix
450g (1lb) sausages
2 medium onions, sliced
115g (4 oz) white mushrooms, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
300ml (½ pint) cold water
Before Cooking
Pre-heat the oven. Heat 15mls of oil in a frying pan
During Cooking
Fry 450g of sausages until browned, add the 2 sliced onions and cook for a further 3-4 mins until softened.
Place the sausages, onions, 115g sliced white mushrooms and 1 sliced red pepper in an ovenproof casserole dish.
Mix contents of Sainsbury's sausage casserole recipe mix sachet with 300ml cold water and pour over the sausages and vegetables.
Cover and cook in the oven for 65 minutes or until the sausages are tender and thoroughly cooked.
