Interpretation of results

Positive for LH surge, if two colour bands are visible and the test band is equal or darker than the control band, this is a positive result and this is a good indication that the LH surge is occurring

If two colour bands are visible, but the test band is of a less intense colour (it is more pale) than the control band or cannot be seen, this indicates that the LH level is at or near the normal level and there is no surge in LH levels in progress. Invalid result, if no control band appears within five minutes, the result is invalid and should be ignored.

LH Ovulation Test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine to predict the time of ovulation.

Usage

Allow the test strip and urine sample to reach room temperature prior to testing.

Remove test strip from the sealed pouch.

Immerse the test strip in the urine sample for at least 5 seconds with the arrow end pointing towards the urine. Do not immerse the strip above the printed max line.

Remove the test strip from the urine and lay flat on a non-absorbent clean surface.

Or alternatively leave the test strip in the urine specimen making sure the strip is not immersed above the max line.

Wait for pink-colored lines to appear.

Read result within 3-8 minutes.

Do not read result after 10 minutes.
