INGREDIENTS:Corn Starch, Tomato Powder (21%), Ground Cumin, Onion Powder, Chilli Powder (5%), Ground Paprika, Salt, Sugar, Garlic Powder, Cayenne Pepper, Ground Black Pepper, Yeast Extract, Oregano, Palm Fat, Turmeric, Acidity Regulator:Citric Acid:.


Preparation and Safety

1 sachet of Sainsbury's chilli con carne recipe mix
450g (1lb) lean beef mince 
2 medium onions, chopped
400g can chopped tomatoes
400g can red kidney beans, drained
150ml (¼ pint) cold water
 
Before Cooking
Heat a frying pan. 
 
During Cooking
Fry 450g lean beef mince and 2 chopped medium onions over a medium heat for 5 minutes until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
Mix contents of Sainsbury's chilli con carne recipe mix sachet with 150ml cold water and stir into mince.
Add 400g can chopped tomatoes and 400g can drained red kidney beans and stir well. 
Bring to boil, stirring continuously. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked, stirring occasionally.
 
After Cooking
Serve with nacho tortilla chips or rice and soured cream.
