1 tbsp vegetable oil

3 carrots, sliced
425ml cold water
Cooking instructions: Oven
Before cooking: Preheat oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, Gas Mark 4. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan. During cooking: Fry the chicken portions and diced onions for 5 minutes over a medium heat until browned. Place chicken, onions and sliced carrots into an ovenproof casserole dish. Mix contents of the sachet with 425ml cold water and pour over the chicken and vegetables. Cover and cook in the oven for 1 hour or until the chicken is tender and thoroughly cooked.
