Preparation and Safety

1 sachet of Sainsbury's chicken casserole recipe mix
450g (1lb) skinless chicken portions (approx 4)
2 medium onions, sliced
3 carrots, sliced
425ml (¾ pint) cold water
 
Before Cooking
Pre-heat the oven. 
 
During Cooking
Place 450g skinless chicken portions, 2 sliced medium onions and 3 sliced carrots in an ovenproof casserole dish.
Mix contents of Sainsbury's chicken casserole recipe mix sachet with 425ml cold water and pour over the chicken and vegetables.
Cover and cook in the oven for 1½ hours or until the chicken is tender and thoroughly cooked.
 
After Cooking
Check food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary.
