Preparation and Safety

Cooking instructions: Hob

TO COOK ON THE HOB: Before cooking: Empty the contents into a medium sized saucepan with 390ml of cold water and stir well. During cooking: Bring to the boil, reduce the heat, cover with a lid and simmer over a low to moderate heat for 20 minutes, or until all the water has been absorbed. After cooking: Check food is piping hot. All appliances vary. This is a guide only.

Microwave: Before cooking: Place the contents of the sachet into a large microwaveable bowl with 390ml of boiling water. During cooking: Cover and microwave on full power for the required time. Stir twice during cooking. After cooking: Leave to stand for 1 minute and stir well before serving. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
