Gran Reserva Rioja Denominación de Origen Calificada. A beautifully smooth, rich and fruity Rioja from one of the region's most respected producers. The spicy vanilla and caramel notes, from the wine's time spent in oak, are soft and rounded combining effortlessly with the ripe red fruit flavours. The CVNE winery was established in 1879 and is still run by the fifth generation descendants of the founding family. This wine is made from a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo grapes which are all hand-picked from the winery's own premium vineyards. The smooth texture of this wine lends itself perfectly to roast lamb.
