Preparation and Safety:
You will need: 2 Medium Eggs, 6 tbsp (90ml) Semi Skimmed Milk, 60g Softened Unsalted Butter, 2 x 7 round cake tins, greased and lined
Cooking instructions:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4.
2. Empty the cake mix into a large bowl and add the eggs, butter and milk.
3. Using an electric whisk, whisk on medium speed for 1 minute.
4. Divide the mixture equally between the prepared cake tins, smoothing the surface with the back of a spoon.
5. Bake in the centre of the oven for approx. 18-20 minutes until risen and cooked throughout.
6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tins for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
7. Once the cakes are completely cool, be creative with your own icing and decorations. Ensure piping hot and do not reheat.
