To cook on the hob. Before cooking: Place 50g oats in a saucepan and add 250ml of water or 200ml semi-skimmed milk or milk free alternative. During cooking: Bring to the boil and simmer. Stir until the oats are broken down and creamy. After cooking: Check food is piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Microwave but can also be cooked on the hob. Before cooking: Place 50g of oats in a microwaveable bowl and stir in 250ml of water or 200ml semi-skimmed milk or milk free alternative. During cooking: Stir halfway through. After cooking: Stir thoroughly. Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary.
