A robust and powerful Châteauneuf du Pape, with complex aromas of plums, truffles and spice balanced by elegant and silky tannins. This fine, full bodied red wine is made by respected Rhone Valley producer Caves Saint Pierre. The secret to its richness and complexity lies in the soil which is covered with so-called 'pudding stones', large, round pebbles which retain daytime heat to help ripen the grapes by night.
