The Rosso di Montalcino comes from a celebrated pedigree of Italian reds. In fact, Biondi-Santi produced the first ever Brunello di Montalcino in 1888 – continuing to maintain its excellence in winemaking for seven generations. With this 2018 vintage, the sour cherry notes that are typical of a cool Sangiovese mingle with an intense bouquet of wild strawberries, raspberries and Mediterranean herbs, while its structured palate is centred on a fruity core.
