How to use

Treatment Time: The maximum recommended treatment time is 25 minutes. Studies have shown that longer periods are not beneficial. The unit will bleep every 5 minutes and automatically turn off after 25 minutes with two bleeps. The minimum recommended time for an area is 10 minutes - if treating multiple areas you can move the band every 10 minutes.

Treatment Coverage: Depending on the area to be treated you may opt to treat different areas on alternative days.

Treatment Frequency: Studies show that laser light therapy is effective as either a daily, or every other day treatment. Our recommendation is to use daily.

Treatment Positions: The Laser Band and Location Band can be adjusted to provide full coverage of the scalp. Be carefull to ensure the treatment light is not blocked by the Location Band.

• This appliance can be used by children aged 18 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• If you suffer from a skin condition, consult your dermatologist before use. This may include certain types of antibiotics, cancer treatments, and diuretics. In addition to medications some common including St. John's Wort, some deodorants, antibacterial soaps, artificial sweeteners and laundry detergents, can cause photo-sensitivity.
• Do not use on cuts or broken skin.
• Do not use this appliance on areas showing signs of: varicose veins, skin diseases (for example eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis), cuts and abrasions, irritation, warts, moles, skin tags, skin rash, hypersensitivity or sunburn, phlebitis, recent scar tissue, other skin conditions. We recommend you consult your physician before treatment if you suffer from any of the above conditions.
• Do not use immediately around the eyes.
• Do not leave the device unattended. Turn off before you leave the room.
• The appliance may be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. Do NOT use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
• If the power lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do NOT stare directly at the light source.
• Do not use on wet or damp hair.
• Do not use where it could come into contact with water.
