Its CNC-machined plinth contains no plastic and no hollow spaces, avoiding unwanted vibrations. A precision belt drive system drives a sub-platter which is mounted into an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing (it's the same bearing as on the brand's award-winning Essential III turntable). Constructed of glass, the zero-resonance main platter ensures an absolutely stable playback surface. The tone-arm features a large, one-piece aluminium tube and improved gimble assembly with low-friction components for accuracy assured. It's finished with an Ortofon OM 5E cartridge with an elliptical diamond stylus to complete its premium sound.
