This Moroccan-inspired rug features hand-knotted wool which creates a wonderful texture and a low profile for layering. Its earthy design adds warmth to living spaces and bedrooms alike.

Hand-knotted from 100% wool in India. Due to the natural fibres and craftsmanship, minor imperfections may appear in the weave. These are not defects but common occurrences in items of this nature. Cut pile has softness while resisting matting and crushing. Pile Height: 1 cm.

This rug has been knotted by hand, the oldest and most individual way a rug can be made. This involves an intricate process of weaving by hand on a loom where yarns are tied one at a time, giving the rug a durable construction.

About your new rug

As this rug is made using natural fibres, shedding is to be expected. This will reduce over time, and should not have an impact on the lifespan or performance of your rug. When you first get your rug, please use the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner whilst the shedding dies down. After that, when vacuuming your rug, use suction only. Rotating brushes may damage the fibres.

Blot any spills with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub or use harsh detergents. Attend to spillages immediately and blot with a clean, dry cloth to prevent staining. Dilute a small amount of appropriate carpet shampoo in water. Dampen a colourfast cloth in the diluted shampoo solution and dab the rug, lightly agitating, moving in the direction of the pile. Treat the whole rug and not just the affected area. To restore the appearance of the affected area, use a soft bristled brush to gently comb in the direction of the pile. Allow the rug to thoroughly dry.

Care instructions

• For indoor use.
• Shedding of loose fibres is normal and will diminish with regular hoovering.
• To prevent dust and crumbs from settling into your rug, hoover regularly and/or shake.
• Do not pull loose ends. Clip them with scissors to remove.
• Keep away from excessive moisture.
• Blot spills immediately with a white cloth.
• Harsh chemicals may damage or fade the rug.
• Use rug protectors under heavy furniture.
• Professional rug cleaning recommended as needed.
