Do not remove starter paper from under the grill. Always place your instant barbecue on a firm, non-flammable, heat resistant surface e.g. bricks. The instant barbecue has a specially impregnated starter paper positioned between the charcoal and the metal grill. No additional lighting aids are required. Hold a flame under one corner of the starter paper until lit. Depending on the wind conditions it will take approximately 20 minutes for the flames to die down. Do not cook before the charcoal has a coating of ash.
