Named after the smile-like shape that its handle creates, the Smile pouf by Porada is a charmingly informal addition to your living space. The design was born from a desire to create a functional and easily manoeuvrable seat: the resulting piece can be carried effortlessly via its wooden handle, which also doubles as a backrest. The minimal, cylindrical design is typical of the understated label, focusing on quality craftsmanship and fine fabric finishes.
Designed by Maurizio Marconato and Terry Zappa
Maurizio Marconato and Terry Zappa are an Italian design duo known for their sophisticated, material-driven approach to furniture and interiors. Trained in architecture, they bring a refined sensibility to their work; through a thoughtful fusion of clean lines, rich textures and expert craftsmanship, they create designs that merge tradition and innovation.
