Cooking instructions: Microwave

Microwave from either chilled or frozen but can also be oven cooked. Before cooking: Remove outer packaging and pierce film. During cooking: Halfway through cooking, add 1 tbsp of water to the rice if cooking from chilled or 2 tbsps of water to the rice if cooking from frozen and stir both compartments. Re-cover and continue cooking. Full power from chilled: 800W 5 mins 30 secs / 900W 5 mins Full power from frozen: 800W 10 mins / 900W 9 mins 30 secs After cooking: Stir thoroughly. Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

Oven cook from either chilled or frozen. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove outer packaging and pierce film. Place on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. During cooking: Halfway through cooking, add 1 tbsp of water to the rice if cooking from chilled or 2 tbsps of water to the rice if cooking from frozen and stir both compartments. Re-cover and continue cooking. Oven cook from chilled: 190°C / Fan 170°C / Gas 5. 25 mins. From frozen: 190°C /Fan 170°C /Gas 5. 40 mins. After cooking: Stir thoroughly. Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Do not reheat once cooled.
