Engineered and made in France with a water-based, natural lacquer finish, the mills are adjustable with six settings, ranging from extra fine to very coarse, depending on the type of grind required for cooking and seasoning. At 18cm tall, these mills make a statement on any table.
The two-stage grinding mechanism effortlessly shatters and then grinds the dry salt crystals or peppercorns to the desired grain size. Salt intensifies aromas, balances other flavours and makes vegetables tastier. Choose very finely ground pepper to bring out its spice when cooking, or a coarser grind to highlight its aromas, flavour and texture, for example, when adding to a salad.
To refill the mills, simply unscrew the top knob, lift off the top and pour in your salt or peppercorns. Use only dry sea salt or rock salt, thanks to the Zirlion salt mechanism, to a maximum size of 4mm. For peppercorns, the steel grind mechanism handles a maximum size of 6mm.
