The two-stage grinding mechanism effortlessly shatters and then grinds the dry salt crystals or peppercorns to the desired grain size. Choose very finely ground pepper to bring out its spice when cooking, or a coarser grind to highlight its aromas, flavour and texture, for example, when adding to a salad. The gear mechanisms are made of durable stainless steel that is treated to prevent corrosion and rust, and guaranteed for lifetime longevity.
To refill the mills, simply unscrew the top knob, lift off the top and pour in your salt or peppercorns. Use only dry sea salt or rock salt, thanks to the Zirconia salt mechanism, to a maximum size of 4mm. For peppercorns, the maximum size is 6mm.
