Patak's Rogan Josh Curry Spice Paste. Medium heat. 12 expertly blended aromatic spices including paprika, fennel, coriander and cloves for a beautifully balanced and authentic Rogan Josh curry cooked from scratch. A store cupboard staple: ready in just 25 minutes. Simply fry onion, ginger and garlic. Sizzle the spice paste to release flavours and brown your meat or vegetables. Add in chopped tomatoes and tomato puree and simmer until all cooked through. Garnish with fresh coriander to serve. Instructions
It is important that this product is prepared as directed in the usage instructions and must not be consumed uncooked.Stir well before use.Lamb Rogan Josh(Easy to Prepare...Serves 4)* 450g Sliced Lamb (Good Cut)* 8tbsp (120g) Patak's Rogan Josh Paste* 1 medium sliced onion* 1 can chopped tomatoes (400g) * 1 tbsp vegetable oilPan:* Gently heat the oil and fry onion for 2 minutes.* Add lamb and fry for 3 minutes until meat is sealed.* Add Patak's Rogan Josh Paste and cook for 2 minutes.* Add tomatoes and mix well.* Cover pan and simmer until meat is tender, approx. 45 minutes. Meena Pathak's Tips: Double the onions and simmer slowly until soft (20 minutes approx) for a sweeter, richer flavour.

Shopping List1 medium onion2cm piece of ginger1 large garlic clove3 tbsp tomato puree1/2 butternut squash1 pepper400g chopped tomatoesFresh corianderRogan 'Squash' Curry for 41 Fry diced onion in 2 tbsp of oil until soft. Add the finely chopped ginger and garlic with 1/2 a jar of spice paste and sizzle to release flavours. Cook for 2 mins, add 50ml water and cook until evaporated.2 Add diced squash and pepper, then loosen with the tomatoes, tomato puree and 200ml water. Simmer uncovered for 15 mins until the squash softens. Garnish with fresh coriander to serve.Swap the squash for 500g of diced lamb for a curry house classic. Cook for 50 mins until cooked through.
