Otrivine Blocked Nose Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray contains xylometazoline hydrochloride to reduce nasal swelling and congestion. It unblocks your nose in just 2 minutes and provides relief for up to 10 hours. For adults and children over 12, apply one spray in each nostril up to three times daily.
Otrivine Blocked Nose Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray is for application in the nose to give relief from nasal congestion (blocked nose, including colds), perennial and allergic rhinitis (recurring inflammation of the nasal mucous membranes, including hay fever) and sinusitis. It contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride, which helps to open up and clear the nasal passages by reducing excessive nasal secretions and reducing swollen blood vessels to their normal size. Unblocks the nose in 2 minutes and lasts for up to 10 hours.
Directions: For full instructions see enclosed leaflet. Before using for the first time, prime the pump by actuating 4 times. If the spray is not ejected during the full actuation stroke, or if the product has not been used for longer than 7 days, the pump will need to be reprimed with 4 actuations. Dosage for adults and children over 12 years: one application in each nostril 1 to 3 times daily. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.
Warnings: Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children. If you are pregnant or taking other medicines or are under a doctor's care, consult your doctor before using Otrivine. Do not exceed the stated dose. After first opening, the nasal spray can be used until the end of the shelf-life. Each pack should be used by one person only to prevent cross infection. Do not use after the expiry date given.
Ingredients: Active ingredient: Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.1% w/v. Each application contains 140 micrograms of Xylometazoline Hydrochloride. Also contains: Hypromellose, sodium chloride, sorbitol, sodium phosphate, sodium acid phosphate, disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride and purified water.
