The Opus One winery, based in Napa Valley, was created through the association of two men - Baron Philippe de Rothschild, from Mouton Rothschild Chateau, and Robert Mondavi, a Napa Valley vintner. One of the results of this union is the 2015, which opens with an initial aroma of dark fruit and spice with undertones of violet and sage. On the palate, you can expect silky, finely-grained tannins and a creamy texture characterised by flavours of plum, blackberry and vanilla.
