Our large and gloriously green Nocellara olives have a mild buttery flavour and meaty texture. Their mild flavour makes Nocellara olives the perfect choice for anyone new to olives. The olives are grown in Sicily and harvested by hand at the very beginning of the season from late September to October, while the olives are still young and have just turned their distinct bright green colour. They are cured using the 'Castelvetrano' process - an efficient, low intervention method that involves soaking the olives for 10-14 days before rinsing them with fresh water. This quick process gently removes traces of bitterness and ensures the olives retain their colour and firm bite. Great served with drinks or as part of an anti-pasti or meze style platter to share with friends and family
