Drink your fibres! As the first oat drink company in the world and the inventors of the modern oat drink, that headline makes perfect sense to us. If you think drinking fibre sounds strange, wait till you hear what some of them are called! And what's even stranger to me is that I can't metion the name without including a long footnote. But that's ok, it's a pretty interesting and hearty footnote, and I recommend it wholeheartedly while making a hand-heart with my fingers, if you know what I mean. Oh, and the fibres are called oat beta-glucans.
Interesting footnote: Oat beta-glucans are good for the heart. As part of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy life-style, daily intake of 3g of oat beta-glucan helps maintain normal cholesterol levels in your blood. High cholesterol is a risk factor for coronary heart disease. One 290 ml glass of Oatly provides a third (1 g) of the recommended daily beta-glucan intake. 2 g Fibre /glass 1 glass = 290 ml.
