Preparation and usageDiscover Extraordinary Rice for Everyday Cooking (60g per serving). Variety - Pusa 1401. We chose this Basmati variety for its subtle sweetness and light, delicate texture. Here's the cooking method we swear by:
Rinse & Soak: Give the grains a good rinse, then soak in cold water for 15-20 minutes in a large pan. This softens the grains so they cook perfectly.
Simmer: Bring to the boil. Reduce heat, simmer for 5-6 minutes.
Steam: Drain, then pop the lid on and let your rice rest for 10 minutes.
