Self-Test - Finger-prick blood - Results in 5 mins - Over 92% accurate

Self-test to measure PSA levels to screen for prostate abnormalities such as prostate cancer, prostate enlargement and prostatitis.

Who is the Prostate Health Test for:

  • For men who do not have symptoms, are aged over 45 who wish to check their prostate
  • For men with urinary tract symptoms (difficulty urinating, pain, increased frequency)

Preparation

  • Rotate and remove the lancet cap.
  • Clean the area to be pricked with the alcohol swab.
  • Squeeze the end of the fingertip and prick it with the sterile lancet.
  • Massage downward to obtain sample.
  • Place the tip of the pipette in contact with the blood until it reaches the fill line.
  • Squeeze the bulb at the end of the pipette to dispense the blood into the well (S) on the cassette.
  • Unscrew the blue cap on the vial and add 2 drops of buffer into the well (S).

Results Interpretation

  • Read results at 5 mins.
