To maintain the leather, use a protective gel or spray to improve water resistance. Keep away from water and heavy rainfall; if wet, blot with paper towels, pack loosely with paper, and dry naturally. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat or sunlight to prevent uneven fading. Superficial marks can be rubbed with a soft cloth. Do not wash.
Warnings: Darker-coloured leathers can transfer colour onto lighter-coloured fabrics and mark it. Dark-coloured fabric dyes (such as denim) can also transfer onto lighter-coloured leathers.
