To maintain the leather, apply protective leather gels or sprays to improve water resistance. Keep away from water and heavy rainfall; if wet, blot with paper towels, stuff with paper, and dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading. Dark-coloured leathers may transfer colour to lighter fabrics, and dark fabric dyes may transfer onto lighter leathers. Superficial marks can be rubbed gently with a soft cloth. Do not wash; wipe clean only.
