To maintain the leather, Mulberry recommends regular care with protective leather gels or sprays to improve water resistance and resist dirt and moisture. Keep away from water and heavy rainfall; if wet, blot with paper towels, stuff loosely with paper, and allow to dry naturally. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat or sunlight to prevent uneven fading. Marks and dulling may appear with age; superficial marks can be gently rubbed with a soft cloth. Dark-coloured leather may transfer colour onto lighter fabrics, and dark fabric dyes (e.g., denim) can transfer onto lighter leathers; such colour transfer is not covered under care policy.
