1 Box Chocolate Brownie Mix
100g Melted Unsalted Butter
90ml Cold Water
18cm Square or Round Tin, Lined with Baking Parchment.
Oven 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas Mark 4
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas Mark 4.
2. Place the melted butter and the chocolate chunks into a microwaveable bowl, loosely cover and heat on medium power for 2 minutes.
3. In another bowl, empty the contents of the sugar and egg mix sachet. Add the water and using an electric whisk, whisk the egg mix with the water for 3-4 mins.
4. Briefly mix the chocolate and butter mix until combined then add to the whisked sugar and egg mixture. Fold through to carefully combine.
5. Finally, add the contents of the flour and cocoa mix sachet to the mixture and gently fold through until combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 30-35 mins.
6. The brownies should be slightly springy on the outside but still soft in the middle.
7. Leave to cool completely before cutting into 9 squares or wedges and serve.
