Regional information: Marlborough is one of New Zealand's most important wine regions, producing lighter and fruitier Pinot Noirs that neighbouring areas.
Vinification: Grapes are harvested in mid to late March and then fermented in temperature controlled tanks. A proportion of the wine was aged in new and old European oak before bottling.
