Outside of the Burgundy region, California is another area with prime growing conditions for Pinot Noir grapes. The Masút winery is proof of this, producing a rich and full-bodied Pinot Noir, thanks to the warmer temperatures and sunnier weather resulting in darker fruit. This is represented in the flavour profile: jammy notes of dark berries and plum are beautifully balanced with notes of liquorice and spice for a rounded drop that is unctuous on the palate.
