Methylglyoxal - the unique compound in Manuka Honey MGO Manuka Honey is labelled based on the minimum Methylglyoxal content (mg/kg) it contains. Methylglyoxal is the compound directly responsible for the remarkable properties of Manuka honey and the MGO rating clearly indicates the minimum level of this compound in each jar. No other system of measurement gives such a clear and simple indication. The higher the MGO rating the more Methylglyoxal content.

Directions:
Take 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) directly off the spoon on an empty stomach, either in the morning or before bed. It can also be drizzled on yogurt, mixed into porridge, or added to warm (not boiling) tea to avoid destroying its antibacterial properties.
