Preparation and Usage: Before first use, place the soother in boiling water for 5 minutes. Allow to cool and squeeze out any trapped water that may have entered the teat. Clean soother before each use. The soother can be sterilised by: steam sterilising (electric or microwave), immersing in a liquid sterilising solution, or boiling in water for at least 5 minutes. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Never dip the teat in sweet substances or medication. Replace soother every 1-2 months. If soother becomes lodged in mouth, do not panic; it cannot be swallowed. Remove from mouth with care. MAM recommends giving up use of soothers at age 3. For night soothers: keep in daylight (not direct sunlight) during the day so the button glows in the dark.
Steriliser box instructions: Remove tamper proof closure and any stickers. Wash soothers and box with mild soapy water, rinse with clear water. For self-sterilising: fill box to mark with 25 ml water, place soother with teat facing down, close, heat in microwave at 750-1000 watts for 3 minutes (for one box). Allow to cool for minimum 5 minutes before opening microwave.
