To compose Afternoon Delight, master perfumer Carlos Benaïm looked to evoke the transporting feeling that famed French author Marcel Proust immortalised in his 1913 novel À la recherche du temps perdu. In the novel, the narrator tastes a madeleine dipped in tea, taking him back to his childhood. The madeleine has since come to symbolise taking a moment to pause and recall the memory of a fleeting indulgence.

How to use:

• As damp skin locks in the scent, apply the fragrance straight after showering or bathing and before getting dressed.
• Apply the fragrance on your pulse points for a more seductive effect and stronger diffusion.
• Spray the fragrance from at least 15-20 centimetres from the area of application.
• For a more diffused effect, spray the fragrance in the air and walk through it.
• Wait until the fragrance has dried down on your skin before smelling it.
