MacuShield Original+ is an eye health food supplement containing Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Meso-zeaxanthin, as well as Vitamin B2 which is proven to help maintain normal vision.

Research shows that the macular carotenoids - Lutein, Meso-Zeaxanthin and Zeaxanthin - are found at the back of the eye, in the macula. The macula is a sensitive part of the eye that is responsible for detailed, central vision. Here, the macular carotenoids form the macula pigment, which looks like a yellow spot at the back of the eye.

The body cannot make macular carotenoids, so we have to consume them in our diet. The macular carotenoids used within MacuShield are obtained from Marigolds (Tagetes Erecta), which have been specifically grown for this purpose.

How to use

• Take one softgel capsule once a day, preferably with food.

• Bulking agent: Sunflower seed oil, capsule shell (gelling agent: bovine gelatin, humectant: glycerol, colour: red iron oxide E172), marigold extract (of which 15% is combined lutein, meso-zeaxanthin, dl-alphatocopherol, zeaxanthin), thickener: beeswax yellow, riboflavin.
