M&S Quick Cook Soup Mix (250g) - High Protein & Fibre

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, peel off sticker and use to reseal pack.

Boil - From Ambient. 50 mins
Soak 100g soup mix in 500ml cold water for 8-12 hours or overnight. Drain and rinse thoroughly before cooking. Bring 500 ml of water to the boil, add soup mix. Boil for 10 mins and then simmer for 40 mins until tender. Drain well and use as required.
Do not reheat.

Smoky Tomato Soup
Serves 2

Ingredients
- 100g Quick Cook Soup Mix
- 1 Carrot, diced
- 1/2 Celery Stick, diced
- 1 Small Onion, diced
- 1 Garlic Clove, crushed
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 800ml Vegetable Stock
- 2 tbsp Tomato Pure
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt & Pepper, to Taste

Method:
1. In a medium saucepan, heat 1 tbsp oil.
2. Add the carrot, celery and onion and saut for 5 mins until softened. Add the garlic and paprika and stir for a further 1 min.
3. Add the tomato pure and the veg and the stock. Bring to the boil and season to taste.
4. Add the quick cook soup mix and continue to simmer 15 mins until grains are cooked through.

Cooking Instructions
Serving size: 50g per portion/140g when cooked
Hob:15-18 mins for 2 servings
1. Bring 1l of water to the boil.
2. Add 50g per serving of the soup mix, reduce the heat and simmer for 15-18 mins.
3. Drain, rinse, and use as required.
Do not reheat

Tip: stir through creamy butternut squash soup for added texture.
