El Desarrollo is a coffee growers' association based in Huila, Colombia, a region famed for its exceptional quality coffee. Members of the association grow and process their coffee at high altitude on the western slopes of the Andes. Ripe cherries are carefully selected by hand, and are dried on the farm on patios or raised beds. Agriculture is the main source of income for the Association members and the association supports them in improving quality and the livelihood of their families.

For the perfect cafetière:
1. Use one heaped tablespoon of coffee per person.
2. Pour over 200ml of freshly boiled water per person.
3. Stir, wait 3-5 minutes, and plunge.
