These are transformed by the ancient method of Appassimento; hand harvested, they are dried naturally, with the bunches losing a third of their weight. This concentrates flavours to produce a wine with great depth and richness. Deeply coloured with ripe black cherries, spice and chocolate, luscious, and warming, with brambly blackberries and raspberries. Matching perfectly to rich dishes like lasagne and warming casseroles.
