The Collection represents Louis Roederer's exploration of how global warming is shaping Champagne production. In pursuit of freshness, the house set out to build a perpetual reserve of wines with vibrant, mineral qualities to enrich its non-vintage blends. Collection 243 draws 31% from this reserve and 10% from oak-aged wines, with the remainder coming from the year's harvest - creating a full-bodied, fleshy pour with remarkable depth.
Founded in 1776, Louis Roederer has spent seven generations perfecting crystal-like Champagne. From 250 hectares of Grand and Premier Cru vineyards to hand-harvesting and delicate pressing, every detail honours terroir and tradition, resulting in cuvées of silken texture and rare, exquisite balance.
The blend is housed in a lightweight, antique-coloured bottle that filters out nearly all light.
