Le Creuset Cast Iron Care

• Remove all packaging and labels. Wash in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Cook on a medium or low heat for best results. Let the product heat up gradually.
• Use Le Creuset Silicone tools or wooden/heat-resistant plastic tools.
• Use an appropriately sized ring for even cooking.
• Sand enamel surface is not ideal for dry cooking. Recommended oils: vegetable, rapeseed, sunflower oil.
• Never drag across a glass surface. Always lift to move.
• Oven and grill safe up to 260°C. Allow a minimum distance of 6.5cm when grilling.
• Always use oven gloves when handling hot products.
• Allow product to cool before cleaning.
• Casserole base is dishwasher safe. Hand wash recommended. Lids with stainless steel and phenolic knobs are dishwasher-safe. Lids with gold, iridescent, copper, or black nickel knobs should be hand-washed.
